These pictures show 5 of the 7 steel pins we installed in this stock. Three will be installed after the halves are joined thru the lock and tang recesses. All pins are hidden and set in epoxy. All deep holes like these must have a small vent hole to intersect the hole for the rod at the bottom, so that epoxy can be pushed all the way in the hole for the rod. Thus, to install 4 steel rods thru a broken stock really requires 16 precisely placed holes, all from hidden areas.
